How should I prepare for the NEET in last four months? The Ultimate Right way to prepare

These last 4 months are going to be the backbone of your preparation and from now on you must plan the upcoming month's preparation schedule like 'until when you should complete your syllabus, how will you deal with your backlog, from when you will join a test series and etc. Such things’.

I am writing the following points presuming that you were dedicated to this exam from the beginning.

1. Do's and don't

these last four months of your preparation are going to be the determining factor for your selection so please don't be that stupid who studied as hell from the starting and now leaving the hope.

As you have only few months left now so please avoid using all of your social media handles completely from now on, Even avoid using yt as much as possible many may say like “bro tu kya kah rha hai mene to neet se 1 mahine pahle tak Netflix dekha tha tab bhi top college mil gaya" but what if you are not that much lucky. remember i always suggest you things keeping in mind for your sure selection and in my opinion avoid social media completely from now on.

Try to increase your efforts from now like if you were studying 12hrs a day then try to study atleast 14hrs and if were studying for 14hrs then try for 16hrs a day(try to invest max. Hours of these in self study) yes its possible becouse at this time Even i was touching that mark of study time.

2. Subject wise approach

Chemistry have 4 portions

Read : How should you prepare for my NEET (Chemistry)? The Ultimate Right way to prepare (needisneet.blogspot.com)

Inorganic chemistry — For IC you don't have to go here & there just follow ncert(its like biology you will get most of the question's from ncert lines)and ncert will be more than sufficient to score a decent score in ic.

Look at these questions. These are some questions asked directly from ncert 👇.

And almost all of the question's been asked these days are directly from ncert lines. So if you read just ncert line to line for ic it will be more than sufficient.

For question practice in ic you must follow mtg fingertip it's really a good book(not promoting a particular book it's just a suggestion)

Organic chemistry — For oc you must been preparing your notes covering each and every reaction/topics in detail.

like look at this page of my notes from oc register👇.

For oc please assure that the you understand the mechanism properly for general reactions (like ESR,NSR, Nitration, sulphonation etc.) Becouse these mechanisms are going to play a vital role in building your concepts and tackling conceptual questions.

Physical chemistry —For physical chemistry reading ncert is totally optional in my opinion becouse nta rarely had asked any question directly from ncert lines.

For PC just follow your notes for understanding the topic and then move on to a bundle of questions.

In physical chemistry the more questions you do the more confidence you will get in that topic.

So practice as many as questions you can.

Physics — to score good in physics there is no other way then making your each and every topic crystal clear so please make sure that all the chapters you've done till date are clear to you.

For this I recommend my fav book! the DC Pandey. It helps me with question practice and conceptuality.

Physics is the only subject from the all which requires extensive practice of questions like i can't even limit you to do the physics question like i can't say to you that just practice 200 questions a chapter and you will be well prepared “no" maybe you will get a question in exam whose pattern will be different from the questions you've practiced so far. so, don't limit yourself practice as many as questions you can in physics but I'm not saying that keep forgetting the patterns of the previous questions😅please move forward to the other questions only when you can do the previous questions correctly. As many as questions you will do the more chances will be of that you will get a question from the pattern you've already practiced and when that will happen you will be able to solve that question earlier than others and that will be a one step forward to your selection.

You can also use your short notes (if you made any) for quick revision before any test or the exam day to revise the whole physics/chapter.

Your short notes should not be that long that they do not remain short at all and do not be that short that you don't understand them at the end. So please keep these things in your mind while preparing them.

For question practice you can follow these materials sequence wise.

  1. Class questions
  2. Pyq's (past 33yrs)
  3. Dpp's
  4. Allen/pw modules
  5. Akash modules

I provide question paper on my telegram channel: https://t.me/needisneet

Biology —

I think you already know what i am going to say about this subject “YES” just follow ncert and practice only ncert based questions.

3.How to cover backlog alongwith the current syllabus.

(This was my method to tackle the backlog)

If you have any backlog what you just have to do is take a blank page and first write down all of your backlog for example of you have the backlog for 5 chapter's and you have to watch 25 lectures (assuming 5 lectures per chapter) then if you already been watching 3 lectures a day just add 1 or two lectures from your backlog into each upcoming day of yours. And try to watch the lectures at 2x it will save much of your time.
